Pay Rate: $5779.80 per hour

What Youll Do
Provide obstetric care, primarily focusing on high-risk maternal-fetal medicine patients
Co-manage complex obstetric cases in collaboration with MFM specialists and ICU teams
Assist with labor and delivery, including cesarean sections and obstetrical procedures
Cover urgent OB needs, emergencies, and high-acuity cases on the unit
Support the maternal-fetal medicine team with colocated high-risk pregnancies
Document patient care using Epic/Eexcelian and Obix electronic systems
Work collaboratively with other OB providers and support staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
What You Need
Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist
Valid Minnesota medical license or IMLC (if no MN license)
Minimum trauma I/II experience
BLS certification
Experience managing high-risk pregnancies; ability to handle complex obstetrical procedures
Flexibility to work 24-hour on-call shifts or 12-hour shifts (your preference)
About the Assignment
This high-acuity obstetric unit manages an average of 11-12 deliveries per day, with a Level II nursery and comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine support. The focus is on high-risk maternal and neonatal care, including rare ECMO-level cases, and provides ample opportunity for OB Hospitalists to function in a collaborative, well-supported environment, primarily caring for high-risk pregnancies with full MFM support.
