What Youll Do
- Provide care for high-risk obstetric patients, including urgent and emergency cases
- Assist with obstetrical procedures like C-sections and other surgeries
- Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and OB team
- Manage high-volume deliveries (approx. 11-12 per day) in a Level II nursery
- Support OB services across multiple hospital units, including covering unassigned OB patients
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic/Excellian and Obix systems
- Respond to urgent OB needs and emergencies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
- Cover both daytime shifts and optional overnight or extended shifts as needed
What You Need
Required:
- Board-certified Ob/Gyn
- Minnesota medical license or IMLC
- Trauma I or II experience
- BLS certification
Preferred:
- Experience with high-risk obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine support
- Ability to work flexible shifts (including 12s)

This role primarily involves providing expert obstetric care focused on high-risk pregnancies within a Level II nursery environment. The hospital offers comprehensive support, including in-house MFM specialists available 24/7, and collaborates closely with other OB providers to ensure seamless patient care. The position involves assisting with complicated deliveries, surgical procedures, and managing urgent obstetric situations, all within a technologically advanced setting.
