What You'll Bring:
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC in OBGYN)
- State medical license for Virginia
- Valid DEA certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to handle high-risk pregnancies and perform gynecological procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to maintaining a clean background with no pending cases
Additional Skills That Shine:
- Experience with high-risk obstetrics and gynecological surgeries
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system
- Ability to manage diverse patient populations
- Emergency Department coverage experience for GYN emergencies
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Several years of post-residency experience in OB/GYN
- Prior work in hospital or clinic settings with obstetric and gynecological services
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- Availability for at least one week of call per month
- Ability to travel as needed; travel expenses are billable
- Commitment to vaccination policies, including flu shots
- Credentialing process completion within 30-60 days
