Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician (OB/GYN)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Occasional weekends required | On-call rotation: approximately 5–6 days per month


About the Opportunity
Gervino Group is partnering with a respected healthcare organization to identify a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN Physician. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to women across all stages of life, from routine gynecological services to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive healthcare services to female patients
  • Monitor patients throughout prenatal, natal, and postnatal stages
  • Diagnose conditions, order and interpret tests, and prescribe treatments
  • Perform deliveries while ensuring the safety of both mother and infant
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions related to women’s health
  • Deliver both outpatient and in-hospital care
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary care team
  • Refer patients to specialists as appropriate
  • Participate in clinic policy development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Support and collaborate with nursing staff and clinical teams
  • Participate in daily team huddles and staff meetings
  • Serve as a preceptor for medical students and NP/PA students
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulations
  • Rotate between clinic locations as needed

Education & Experience
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Licensure & Certifications
  • Active Medical Doctor (MD) license in California
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • DEA and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certifications
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Additional Requirements
  • Prior supervisory experience or willingness to take on leadership responsibilities
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and community health
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
