    Job Title: Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Location: New York City

    Job Description:

    The Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician will work directly with certified nurse midwives to provide 24/7 coverage of labor and delivery, as well as general obstetrics hospital day and night shift coverage including GYN consults. This position will be part of a large, thriving department supported by nine academic divisions covering various areas including Family Planning, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Fetal Medicine and Ultrasound, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Reproductive and Medical Genetics. The successful candidate will fully integrate into departmental educational activities, including simulation, grand rounds, resident education, and diversity and inclusion activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience as a Physician/Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn).
    • Experience working with midwives and birth delivery.
    • Familiarity with Gynecology practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide 24/7 coverage of labor and delivery.
    • Offer general obstetrics hospital day and night shift coverage including GYN consults.
    • Collaborate with certified nurse midwives.
    • Participate in departmental educational activities.
    • Work within a team-oriented environment.
