Obstetrics Registered Nurse (OB RN) – Contract Assignment

Location: Hollister, CAPay:$2,919 per weekContract Length: 8–13 weeks with potential extension

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics Registered Nurse to support our partner facility in Hollister, California. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in maternal‑child health and provide compassionate, evidence‑based care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Perform maternal and fetal assessments and respond promptly to changes
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and support providers during cesarean sections
• Administer medications and manage epidural procedures per protocol
• Educate patients and families on labor progression, postpartum care, and newborn health
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
• Uphold all safety, regulatory, and infection‑control standards

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent OB/L&D experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and patient‑support skills
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts consistently throughout the contract
