Position Introduction:
The ECEI is searching for a Senior Project Advisor to support our SEED (School Experiences and Early Development) study. This position is a part-time position on the Tulsa campus. The Senior Project Advisor will work closely with the project director to implement specific phases of the study through August 2027. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and four years of experience.
Representative Duties:
Training. Trains staff on child measures, assisting with in-person and Zoom training for new and existing staff on measures to be used with study. Assists with training staff on data protocols.
Dataset Creation and Management. In partnership with Project Director, ensures databases and datasets are created for all measures along with participant tracking. Assist Project Director with protocol development and implementation.
Code Book Development. Assists Project Director with development of code books for each dataset; works closely with research partners to ensure fidelity.
Communication/Scheduling. Assist project director with communication with program partners (site administration) and with scheduling data collection visits.
Project Meetings. Attend project meetings and Institute meetings as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as University, State and Federal regulations.
Must have effective data management skills.
Must have knowledge and understanding of applied research.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood, Psychology or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Four years’ experience required. Must be in one of the following areas: Conducting research; project management; accounting or business; early childhood program administration.
