Description
Shinda is looking for an Occupancy Coordinator to maintain all occupancy-related activities for the properties. Essential Role and Responsibilities: - Schedule and conduct interviews of potential applicants
- Send appointment letter to the Site Manager (when applicable)
- Consistently and accurately update all records
- Review applications and income eligibility
- Review HUD 50059/LIHTC applications
- Send all pre-qualified applications with a move-in memo and a copy of the initial interview appointment letter to the Site Manager
- Send appropriate letters to applicants, including approval letters, waiting list letters, and rejection letters.
- Filing
- Recordkeeping
- Ensure timely and proper applicant information is stored
- Run and analyze background checks
- Prepare waiting list placement letters
- Prepare files for move in
- Review files for move in (when applicable)
- Demonstrate effective communication when needed to update vacancy reports accurately
