Occupancy Specialist

Butler Senior Living is seeking an Occupancy Specialist to join our team!

Butler Senior Living is a Springpoint Senior Living Affordable Housing Community located in Butler, NJ. We are seeking a Full-Time Occupancy Specialist to oversee the Occupancy responsibilities as set forth by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and Tax Credit programs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for yearly file audits and reviews by internal and external parties.
• Coordinate the assignments of subsidies, unit transfers, and move out/move-ins
• Complete monthly tenant re-certifications. 
• Organize and prepare resident files. 
• Respond to tenants and applicant questions and inquires and address any issues that arise in an accurate and timely manner.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Occupancy credentials such as Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or Certified Professional in Occupancy (CPO) or equivalent
• Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) experience preferred 
• Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) certification and experience if applicable to program

Pay Range: $23 - $25/hour
