Hours: Part Time, 25 Hours per week, Mon - Fri, 09.30 -14.30

Location: Northallerton, North Yorkshire

 

Hybrid working (requirement to work from County Hall Northallerton on a Tuesday & Thursday)

Payroll Services is one of the largest teams across NYC and provides a host of services including payroll admin for schools and services, occupational health, LGPS pensions administration, DBS and local partners and directorate services. We have around 42,000 customers who all rely on us to provide a fantastic professional customer experience.

We currently have a vacancy in the following area:

 

Occupational Health & Wellbeing Administration (OHWB)

 

The core focus of this post is to provide a wide range of occupational health administrative support to both internal and external customers, and for the OHWB clinical team in the delivery of professional safe effective quality service.

 

As part of this new job opportunity, you will be involved in: 

 

  • First line client facing contact for the OHWB customer service dealing with phone calls in to the service from customers. You will provide advice and guidance on access to a range of services and signposting where appropriate, working within a clinically focused environment and dealing with sensitive and emotive calls/emails/customers.
  • Be highly discreet in delivering a confidential and supportive service to help with enquiries (often sensitive in nature) about the occupational health process.
  • Have strong partnership working relationships with external doctors and medical practices.
  • Undertake a high-level focus on Data governance and responsibility for related confidential data files and storage maintaining accuracy of files in compliance with GDPR & retention polices and medical records management.
  • Ensure compliance of relevant legislation, professional standards, and ethical guidance.
  • You will be required to be competent in Microsoft office packages and have the ability to understand how to navigate the inhouse OHWB system with training.
