Occupational Health and Safety Consultant

ACME CONTROL SYSTEM CORPORATION seeks one full-time Occupational Health and Safety Consultant to work at its office in Phoenix, AZ. Candidate must have at least a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health; Public Health; or Environmental Health, along with a Certificate of Completion for OSHA Course #511: Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry, with 24 months of prior experience as a Health & Safety Analyst; OHS Consultant; Safety & Health Checker; or Safety & Health Manager.

Candidate duties will include:

Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and operational practices to ensure compliance with occupational safety standards and applicable government regulations.
Analyze incident data, including injuries, illnesses, and accidents, to identify risk trends and recommend corrective and preventive measures to management. 
Develop, implement, and maintain occupational health and safety programs, including hygiene programs, fall protection plans, and emergency response procedures. 
Conduct safety training and new employee orientations, including preparing training materials and demonstrating the proper use of safety equipment and safe work practices. 
Coordinate and communicate with contractors and project stakeholders to ensure consistent safety compliance across job sites, and supervise safety personnel in conducting inspections and implementing safety programs. 

Candidate must have 12 months of work experience using AutoCAD, as well as 24 months of work experience in workplace safety inspections and compliance.

Salary: $93725-100000/yr.
