We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team for 737 Field Operations within the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) division. The role is based in Renton, WA or Seattle, WA and is fully onsite.Position ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning, implementation, and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes.Plan and conduct health and safety audits.Support production operations through identification and mitigation of risk.Interface with various organizations and departments.Participate in incident investigations.Identify and develop corrective action plans to respond to internal/external audits and inspections.Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively on cross‑functional teams.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Bachelor's degree or higher.1+ year of experience in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS).1+ year of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and conducting audits.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.Experience with decorative paint operations.Experience evaluating and supporting work‑at‑height activities, including a strong understanding of fall protection systems, fall hazard assessments, applicable regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Experience developing and implementing process improvements.Experience with Enablon.Conflict of InterestSuccessful candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free WorkplaceBoeing is a drug‑free workplace; post‑offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies.Pay & BenefitsPay is based on candidate experience and qualifications, market and business considerations.
