Description

Occupational Health Coordinator - 2nd Shift (Temporary)

Approximate Duration: 3 months or as needed Schedule: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday-Friday; Saturdays as needed Note: Hours may vary based on departmental needs.

Description

This temporary position supports Occupational Health operations by providing first aid, clinical assessment, and ongoing care to team members. The role works closely with Safety, Production, and management to ensure employee well‑being and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Administer first‑aid treatment and life‑support care to sick or injured employees
  • Perform emergency clinical diagnostic and treatment procedures
  • Observe, record, and report patient conditions, treatments provided, and reactions to medications or procedures to the physician/RN
  • Assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to prioritize medical procedures
  • Comfort and reassure patients
  • Provide ongoing treatment and follow‑up care to employees
  • Work with employees and managers on ergonomic improvements
  • Perform drug and alcohol screening
  • Conduct hearing testing for team members
  • Maintain courteous and professional communication at all times
  • Collaborate closely with the Safety Department
  • Perform any other duties reasonably associated with the above responsibilities

Requirements

The ideal candidate must:

  • Demonstrate world‑class customer service skills
  • Work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Be a strong team player with the ability to meet deadlines and follow company policies
  • Be comfortable working with individuals from diverse cultures
  • Be willing to work Saturdays and 2nd shift
  • Possess a current Nebraska CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or MA (Medical Assistant) certification preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Employees who fill this position will be eligible for:

  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage beginning after 90 days
  • Paid Time Off: Sick leave, vacation, and 6 company‑observed holidays
  • Pay: $23.00/hr
