Summary:
The Occupational Health Manager serves as the primary liaison between the organization, its corporate clients, and the in-house occupational health clinic. This role is responsible for driving client satisfaction, negotiating service contracts, and overseeing daily clinic operations to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery that aligns with client workforce needs.

A. Experience, Knowledge and Skill
A Bachelor's degree is required, with a degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Occupational Health, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
Core Competencies Required: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, strong financial acumen for managing contract budgets, and proficiency with healthcare electronic medical record systems.
Familiarity with occupational health medical coding and billing is preferred.
Manual or Physical Skills Required: Must be capable of performing all skills required in day-to-day operations.

C. Working Conditions:
Sensitivity to appropriate precautions and procedures related to personal protective equipment and procedures is required. Exposure to blood-borne pathogens is possible. General knowledge and awareness of worksite and clinical safety and hazards precautions is required.
Traveling in various types of inclement weather is possible. Work-site safety and protective precautions are required.

The individual performing in this position has direct access to patient medical record information and employee/employer demographic/financial and medical information, all of which must be maintained in the strictest confidence. This individual is also responsible for ensuring that employees within the assigned areas of responsibility maintain confidentiality standards as required by NOHS policy.
The individual performing in this position must perform all position responsibilities without direct supervision and must be capable of assuming new responsibilities and functioning independently within the scope of authority.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Serve as the main point of contact for corporate clients, managing relationships, addressing service inquiries, and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
Draft, negotiate, and execute service level agreements (SLAs) and contracts for occupational health services with new and existing clients.
Oversee the administrative operations of the in-house occupational health clinic, ensuring efficient scheduling, staffing, and resource management.
Ensure clinical services such as drug screenings, physicals, injury care, and wellness programs run meet client specifications and regulatory standards.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), contract profitability, and clinic utilization rates to senior leadership and clients.
Guarantee that all clinic activities and client programs comply with OSHA standards, HIPAA regulations, and medical confidentiality laws.
Act as the escalation point for any client complaints or service delivery issues within the clinic, implementing swift corrective actions.
