Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Health Registered Nurse
Location: Sylmar, CA
Pay Rate: $41–$44/hour
Duration: 6 months
Provide occupational health services to the site population, including first aid, employee injury and illness management, workers’ compensation case management, medical surveillance, screenings, and occupational health programs. Manage medical supplies, support emergency response activities, coordinate occupational health and safety initiatives, and collaborate with EH&S and HR teams. Drive workers’ compensation cost reduction through effective case management, return-to-work programs, and injury prevention initiatives.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California required
Required Skills
2–4 years of Registered Nurse experience
Occupational health nursing experience
California RN license
Workers’ compensation case management
Employee injury and illness management
Medical surveillance programs and protocols
Occupational health screenings
First aid and emergency response
Return-to-work case management
Injury prevention programs
Preferred Skills
Corporate/site occupational health program experience
Experience partnering with Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) teams
