Briotix Health is building a candidate pool of qualified Occupational Health Nurse''s (OHN) for a potential full-time opportunity in El Paso, Texas, anticipated for Fall 2026.

Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse (OHN)

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Setting: Manufacturing

Hours: Average of 40 hours per week, on-site

Shifts: *Monday-Friday, 1st shift

Salary Rate: $81,000 - $98,000

  • on-site hours may vary based on contractual client expectations

hourly rate negotiable based on credentials and experience

Position Overview:

The Occupational Health Nurse is the primary medical provider for the onsite clinic and will adhere to all local, state, and federal compliance requirements within their scope of practice and provide ethical and high-quality services to Briotix Health's clients' employees. This position will provide onsite occupational health and preventative care to help reduce and treat injuries and illnesses in the workplace.

Job Duties:

  • Provide on-site services at one location in El Paso, Texas.
  • Provide ethical, evidence-based medical services to the clients' employees both onsite and in virtual evaluations while working within the recommendations of the Medical Director.
  • Completion of timely and accurate electronic and non-electronic documentation.
  • Perform phlebotomy and collect urine samples as necessary.
  • Perform and/or coordinate New Hire physical examinations.
  • Provide onsite first aid and wellness screening.
  • Provide case management and return-to-work services.
  • Administer and document annual vaccinations, spirometry, audiograms, drug & alcohol testing, biometrics, and medical questionnaires.
  • Coordinate assessment, treatment planning, and return to work processes with the employee, providers, and employer.
  • Assess and educate patients on medication lists, illnesses, medical history, injury prevention methods, and test results.
  • Survey work environments for hazards.
  • Maintain all state and federal-required licenses and professional scope of practice.
  • Compliance with and detailed understanding of HIPAA and Patient Privacy Act.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse license in good standing in the applicable working state(s).
  • Current certification in CPR / BLS for health care providers.
  • 1 or more years of experience in Occupational Health, Primary Care, Outpatient, or Urgent Care.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and work-flow management skills.
  • NIOSH Spirometry Training and Certification may be required.
  • Current COHN certification or ability to obtain certification within the first 3 years of employment.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of on-site work needs; ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds, frequent standing, walking, sitting, squatting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Verbal & written Spanish bilingual capabilities.
  • 3 or more years of experience in Occupational Medicine.

U.S. Physical Therapy is one of the largest publicly-traded, pure-play operator of outpatient physical and occupational therapy clinics. The clinics provide pre- and post-operative care for a variety of orthopedic-related disorders and sports-related injuries, rehabilitation of injured workers and preventative care.
