Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Frederick, MD – Onsite
Contract: October 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026, with potential extension
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) for an onsite contract assignment in Frederick, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with a strong Emergency Room background who is comfortable working independently and providing high-quality clinical care during an overnight shift.

The RN will support employee health, workplace injury care, screenings, and occupational health programs within an onsite health center.

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive occupational and clinical nursing services to employees.

• Assess and treat workplace injuries, illnesses, and acute health concerns within RN scope of practice.

• Perform phlebotomy, health screenings, and applicable clinical procedures.

• Respond to urgent and emergency situations.

• Support fitness-for-duty and return-to-work evaluations.

• Provide employee health education and promote workplace wellness.

• Assist with identifying and mitigating workplace health hazards.

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical and occupational health documentation.

• Follow established clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

• Work autonomously in a fast-paced onsite clinical environment.

What You Bring

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.

• 3+ years of RN experience in occupational health, emergency room, or ambulatory care.

• Emergency Room experience required.

• Strong clinical assessment and phlebotomy skills.

• Current hands-on BLS certification through AHA, American Red Cross, or an approved equivalent.

• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and independent decision-making skills.

Preferred: Occupational health experience, urgent care or ambulatory care experience, and COHN/COHN-S, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management certification.
