Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong Emergency Room background looking for a unique opportunity in Occupational Health? We are seeking a confident, independent RN to provide comprehensive employee health services within a fast-paced onsite occupational health clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your emergency assessment skills while promoting employee wellness, workplace safety, and injury management.

What You'll Be Doing

Occupational Health & Clinical Care

• Provide comprehensive occupational health services for employees working onsite.

• Perform thorough nursing assessments and determine appropriate clinical interventions.

• Evaluate and treat workplace injuries, illnesses, and other acute health concerns within RN scope of practice.

• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures.

• Conduct employee health screenings and wellness assessments.

• Provide health education focused on injury prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices.

Workplace Injury Management

• Assess occupational injuries and coordinate appropriate treatment.

• Assist with return-to-work evaluations and fitness-for-duty processes.

• Collaborate with leadership and safety teams to support workplace health initiatives.

• Help identify workplace health risks and support hazard prevention efforts.

• Respond quickly and effectively to onsite medical emergencies.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and employee health records.

• Follow OSHA guidelines, occupational health standards, and company protocols.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and workplace safety requirements.

• Work independently while managing clinical priorities during overnight shifts.

Qualifications

Required

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience.

• Emergency Room (ER) experience required.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture experience.

• Current BLS certification (AHA, ARC, or equivalent).

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently in an onsite occupational health clinic.

Preferred

• Previous Occupational Health nursing experience.

• Urgent Care or Ambulatory Care experience.

• COHN or COHN-S certification.

• Emergency Nursing or Case Management certification.

• Experience with:

  • Employee health programs

  • Workplace injury management

  • Return-to-work coordination

  • Fitness-for-duty evaluations

  • Workplace health screenings

  • OSHA and workplace safety initiatives

Schedule

• Tuesday – Friday

• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Contract Assignment: October 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026

• Potential for extension
