    Description

    Primary Care Associates seeks a highly skilled, dedicated, and professional Occupational Health Representative to join our rapidly growing and dynamic team.     Schedule: Monday through Friday, 08:00am-04:00pm

    Representative duties

    • Input payment information or other financial data into customer accounts in EHR
    • Generate invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to customers
    • Work with the OrthoAlaska billing department to identify and correct billing errors
    • Maintain workflow and organization
    • Utilize accounting software to identify outstanding accounts, inform accounts of any missed/late payments and coordinate payment

    Knowledge and skill requirements

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Professional, personable and caring, and able to help patients feel at ease
    • Able to understand medical charts and diagnoses and coding for billing purposes
    • Able to maintain a calm demeanor when under pressure
    • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work with a variety of patient care teams
    • Skill in operating a personal computer using a variety of software applications and EHR

    Required qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Preferred (in addition to required) qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in billing, business, or related field OR
    • Two (2) years of experience in occupational health or customer service
