Location: Grand Valley Occupational Medicine (2020 N. 12th Street)
Responsibilities:
Thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and accreditation standards relevant to occupational medicine clinics, including OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, ODAPC, CDC, workers’ compensation, CMS, and NHSN.
Proficiency in healthcare information systems, electronic health records (EHR), and practice management software.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and resilience.
Certifications: Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT), Certified Lifeloc Operator & Calibration Technician (CLOCT), Certified Professional Collector (CPC), Certified Professional Collector Trainer- Urine (CPCT-U), Certified Professional Collector- Oral fluid (CPCT-OF)
Lead and manage clinic staff (physicians, nurses, medical assistants, admin), fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and clinic capacity to optimize efficiency and reduce wait times.
Develop, implement, and maintain clinic policies, procedures, and workflows aligned with regulatory standards and best practices in occupational medicine.
Monitor budgets, control expenses, and identify opportunities to enhance revenue and reduce costs.
Ensure proper inventory of medical supplies and cost-effective procurement practices.
Maintain strong relationships with employers, insurers, and regulatory bodies; ensure contractual obligations and pricing structures are met.
Track and analyze key performance indicators, including patient satisfaction, provider productivity, and financial metrics.
Ensure full compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, ODAPC, CDC, NHSN, and other relevant regulations.
Serve as the liaison between clinic operations and senior leadership, providing updates and strategic input.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field required.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare management, with specific experience in occupational medicine or related field preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing clinical and non-clinical staff.
Experience working with workers’ compensation programs, employer health services, DOT exams, and OSHA compliance.
Knowledge of case management, drug screening protocols, pre-employment and return-to-work evaluations, and regulatory reporting.
Compensation:
$30.00 - $34.50 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.

Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.
