What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with occupational health team on patient case management
• Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses
• Support employees at a meat packing plant with daily patient care
• Perform procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, suturing, and vaccination
• Manage work restrictions and assist with return-to-work evaluations
• Interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results, imaging, and PFTs
• Support workers’ compensation cases and develop treatment plans

What You Need
Required:

• Active Michigan Nurse Practitioner license
• Board Certification in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• DEA certification
• BLS and DOT/FMCSA certification
• 2+ years relevant experience, occupational health experience preferred

Preferred:

• Experience with musculoskeletal injuries and occupational injury management
• Skills in joint injections, aspirations, and PFT interpretation

About the Assignment
Support staff at a busy occupational health unit providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses.
