Lead the Safety Journey

Step into a role where your work keeps people safe every day. As the Occupational Safety Program Leader for our industrial operations, you will guide our company-wide safety program, uphold OSHA and applicable standards, and help cultivate a proactive culture where everyone goes home safe.

A day in the life

You start on the floor, visible and engaged—reviewing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), walking worksites, and connecting with crews. Before lunch, you’ve completed targeted inspections, flagged risks, and aligned with supervisors on corrective actions. In the afternoon, you might facilitate a safety training, support an incident investigation, or update key records. You close the day tracking regulatory changes and partnering with teams to strengthen our emergency preparedness.

What you’ll oversee

  • Policy & Compliance: Maintain and execute the company’s safety program; ensure adherence to OSHA and relevant safety standards.
  • JSA Oversight: Lead, review, and improve Job Safety Analyses with field teams.
  • Inspections & Risk Management: Conduct routine site audits and mitigate hazards.
  • Incident Management: Support investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
  • Training & Education: Deliver and coordinate safety training and toolbox talks.
  • Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate logs, reports, and safety documentation.
  • Employee Engagement: Promote participation and reinforce safe behaviors across teams.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Monitor regulatory updates and industry best practices.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Assist in planning, drills, and response readiness.
  • Collaboration & Support: Partner with leadership and field personnel to embed safety in operations.

Expectations

  • Maintain a visible and active presence across worksites.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and drive continuous safety enhancements.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with both leadership and field teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred.
  • OSHA 500, First Aid/CPR, and CSP required (must have all).
  • Proven years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and training skills; able to conduct investigations and prepare detailed reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Avetta and ISN safety portals.

If you’re energized by hands-on leadership and measurable impact, this role offers the chance to elevate safety performance across industrial environments.
