Occupational Therapist (0.50 FTE) (3 Year Retention Bonus Eligible!)

The Green Bay Public School District is pleased to accept applications for a part-time Occupational Therapist position for the 2026-27 school year. School Occupational Therapists work with school staff, students, and parents to facilitate student participation and occupational performance in a variety of learning environments. Qualifications Required:

Education: Bachelor''s Degree

License: Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction certification as an Occupational Therapist

Qualifications Desired:

Education: Master''s Degreee in Occupational Therapy from an accredited univeristy

4. Evaluates students, interprets evaluation findings as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team, and makes appropriate recommendations for services.

5. Based on individual evaluation and the IEP, develops and implements direct and indirect services for students.

6. Participates in the development of IEPs for students found to have a disability and attends IEP meetings and parent/teacher conferences.

7. Uses Assistive Technology to support student participation.

8. Develops individual intervention plans for all assigned students.

9. Observes student engagement and provides strategies and evidence-based therapeutic intervention to facilitate student participation and occupational performance with adaptations/modifications.

10. Strives to improve and optimize student performance in a variety of learning environments through adaptations/modifications.

11. Completes and maintains required records and/or documentation of services provided.

12. Teaches, monitors and collaborates with educational personnel, community agencies, parents, and students regarding occupational therapy and individual needs in order to increase understanding and student performance.

13. Provides continuing education and in-service for educational personnel.

14. Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
