Occupational Therapist, Acute Rehabilitation Uni

A hospital in Sierra Vista, Arizona is seeking a mid-level Occupational Therapist to join its Acute Rehabilitation Unit. This is a fully on-site, in-person position with no travel involved. Please note that relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available for this role.

The Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services to patients within the Acute Rehabilitation Unit, focusing on functional recovery and helping patients regain independence in daily activities. Working within an inpatient rehabilitation setting, the clinician will partner with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations within the Acute Rehabilitation Unit
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting functional recovery
• Deliver therapeutic interventions designed to restore independence in daily living activities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient-centered treatment approaches
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinical needs evolve
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation for all patient encounters
• Operate within the standard scope of occupational therapy practice in an inpatient rehabilitation setting

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program required
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Arizona required
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Experience in outpatient, rehabilitation, or acute care settings preferred
