Summary:
The Occupational Therapist utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate/assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
- Communicates effectively with patient, family members, and team members as needed.
- Performs appropriate and necessary documentation and patient/family education, per division protocols.
- Supervises COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations.
- Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise
- Experience in occupational therapy is required.
- Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
Education and Experience
- Education: Applicants must have a Bachelors degree, Masters degree, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Certification: Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required.
- Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
