Job Overview The Occupational Therapist II provide occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment, follow up and documentation using general competencies for inpatients and/or outpatients referred to the OT department. Provides guidance for occupational therapy intern students and therapy aides/assistants with specific patients or tasks. Provides continuous consultation and education to families. The Occupational Therapist II successfully fulfills the requirements of a specified area or completes and maintains the Career Advancement Program (CAP), demonstrating both excellence in job performance and on-going contributions in service, education and research, and professional development and leadership. EXPERIENCE - Two years of professional experience as an occupational therapist. Preferred experience in sensory integration and Autism Spectrum Disorders. CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR, maintained criteria for Occupational Therapist II and obtained requirements listed in the Career Advancement Program guidelines. LICENSURE -Colorado State Registration for Occupational Therapy - National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employment.
