Role Description This is a contract, on-site Occupational Therapist in school districts in Nassau County. The Occupational Therapist will provide school-based OT services, including evaluating students, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy sessions as per Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Day-to-day responsibilities include treating students in group and individual sessions, documenting session notes to track progress, and collaborating with Committee on Special Education (CSE) Team including teachers, psychologists, speech therapists, physical therapists, admin and support staff.

Qualifications

• \n
• MSOT or OTD Degree from an accredited program
• \n
• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) in New York.
• \n
• Experience in pediatric or school-based OT settings is preferred.
