A bit about us:We are a well-established healthcare organization in East Tennessee seeking two full-time Occupational Therapists to join our growing rehabilitation team.
This opportunity is primarily focused on outpatient occupational therapy, working with a mix of pediatric and adult patients. Pediatrics is an important area of need for the department, making this an especially strong opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with children or would like to expand their pediatric experience.
Our rehabilitation team emphasizes individualized, one-on-one patient care in a collaborative environment where therapists have the ability to build meaningful relationships with their patients.

Job DetailsWe are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in East Tennessee.
The majority of this position will focus on outpatient care, treating both pediatric and adult patients. Pediatric experience is particularly desirable due to the current needs of the department.
There may also be occasional opportunities to assist with hospital or senior-care coverage. Prior experience in these areas is not required, as experienced team members are available to provide training and support.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide one-on-one therapy to pediatric and adult patients
- Help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and overall quality of life
- Treat a variety of outpatient diagnoses and conditions
- Work with pediatric patients on developmental and functional goals
- Provide orthopedic and post-operative rehabilitation as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and other members of the care team
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when necessary
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and continued care
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current or eligible Tennessee Occupational Therapist license
- Pediatric OT experience highly desirable
- Adult outpatient experience preferred
- Orthopedic and/or post-operative experience is a plus
- Modality certification is a plus
- 2+ years of experience preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
