AVIR at Pebble Creek is seeking a compassionate and motivated Per Diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT looking for flexible scheduling while providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive rehabilitation environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.

• Provide skilled OT services based on physician orders and patient needs.

• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional mobility, strength, coordination, and independence with activities of daily living.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.

• Complete timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge recommendations.

• Collaborate with nursing, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, adaptive equipment, and home programs.

• Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing.

• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain as required.

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Dependable and committed to providing excellent patient care.
