Temah Healthcare Services Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is psychiatric rehabilitation program located in Baltimore County. We are currently looking for a part time or full-time licensed mental health professional for our Rehabilitation Specialist position. Our ideal candidate will be somebody who has great people skills and is able to work independently.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing medical records and requesting records from outside agencies
Completing and tracking individual rehabilitation plans obtaining authorizations for services
Review of client services to meet COMAR and billable standards supervising PRP counselors
Checking for note corrections and releasing notes Scheduling new referrals and completing intake assessments
Keeping regular contact with PRP counselors
Mediating client complaints
Aiding in the rehabilitation of our clients
Attending weekly management staff meetings
Train rehabilitation counselors
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Thorough understanding of clinical documentation
Working understanding of COMAR regulations for outpatient mental health and clinical documentation
Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Full understanding of ethics in clinical care and crisis intervention.
Job Type: part time (20 hrs shift) OR full time (40 hrs shift) Required education:
Master's Required experience:
Must be a licensed social worker, counselor, psychologist, or a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner
Required license or certification: Occupational Therapist
