Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and support clients of all ages to improve independence and daily functioning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation programs.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, mobility aids, and environmental modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, schools, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate clients, caregivers, and staff on therapy goals and treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor client progress.
• Support program development, quality improvement, and community outreach initiatives.
• Promote health, wellness, and injury prevention through education and advocacy.

Key Qualifications:

• A Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university; AND
• A Minimum of one (1) year of occupational therapy experience; three years considered an asset

Additional Requirements:

• Eligibility for registration with a provincial Occupational Therapy licensing body
• Successful completion of the CAOT national certification examination
