    Description

    Adelphi is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services at a facility in Callaway County, Missouri. The ideal candidate will assess functional needs and provide occupational therapy services to adult consumers, with a focus on adaptive equipment, mobility, safety, fall-risk reduction, and daily living skills.

    Requirements
    • Active Missouri Occupational Therapist license.
    • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
    • Experience providing occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
    • Ability to support adult consumers with mobility, self-care, adaptive equipment, and safety needs.
    • Behavioral health, rehabilitation, long-term care, or hospital experience preferred.
    • Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to complete orientation and meet facility credentialing/security requirements.

    Responsibilities
    • Assess functional mobility and determine the need for mobility or adaptive equipment.
    • Recommend interventions to support fall-risk reduction, safety, and functional independence.
    • Notify facility staff of recommended equipment needs.
    • Educate consumers and caregivers on the safe and appropriate use of adaptive equipment.
    • Provide OT assessments and interventions for ADLs, self-care, and fine motor coordination.
    • Support functional needs related to weakness, muscle re-education, and pain management.
    • Document services, recommendations, and consumer progress in accordance with facility guidelines.
    • Attend required orientation prior to beginning services.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
