Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) – Part-Time Contract
Location: Fulton State Hospital, 600 East 5th Street, Fulton, MO 65251

Schedule: Up to 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM
Expected Start Date: July 1, 2026

Job Overview
ND Global Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time contract opportunity at Fulton State Hospital in Fulton, Missouri.
The selected Occupational Therapist will provide assessment, intervention, and treatment services to support functional mobility, adaptive equipment needs, fall-risk mitigation, activities of daily living, and other occupational therapy needs. This position is expected to work up to 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
The selected candidate will be required to attend one day of New Employee Orientation prior to beginning work.

Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist will provide OT assessments and interventions, including but not limited to:

  • Assessing and developing interventions to reduce fall risks.
  • Assessing functional mobility and determining adaptive/mobility equipment needs.
  • Notifying the facility of recommended equipment needs.
  • Providing patient/consumer and caregiver education on proper use and safety of adaptive equipment.
  • Supporting activities of daily living and self-care needs.
  • Providing interventions related to fine motor coordination.
  • Supporting treatment for generalized weakness.
  • Providing muscle re-education interventions.
  • Supporting pain management interventions.
  • Completing documentation in accordance with facility guidelines and professional standards.
  • Participating in coordination with facility staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Active Occupational Therapist license required.
  • Ability to provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions in a healthcare or facility-based setting.
  • Experience with fall-risk mitigation, adaptive equipment, mobility support, and ADL/self-care interventions.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow facility policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
  • Must be available to work part-time, up to 24 hours per week.
  • Must be available to attend one day of New Employee Orientation before starting.
  • Must provide current resume, license/credentials, and certifications for client submission.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a hospital, behavioral health, rehabilitation, long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting.
  • Experience working with adult patients/consumers.
  • Experience with adaptive equipment recommendations and caregiver education.
  • Availability to start on or around July 1, 2026.
