Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist
Locations: Seffner & Brandon (Oakfield), FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Compensation: 75,000–95,000 per year, based on experience
Incentives: 10,000 sign-on bonus plus $350/month in indefinite student debt repayment. 

 

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist to join our team in a shared role across our Seffner and Brandon (Oakfield) outpatient centers. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of upper extremity conditions, including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. Splinting experience is preferred. Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 yr experience, apply. CHT credential is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
  • Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
  • Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Active national registration and state licensure (required at the start of employment)
  • Current CPR certification Valid state driver’s license
  • Occupational Therapists with at least one year of current hand therapy experience
