Henry Ford Home Health Care Henry Ford Home Health Care is a comprehensive network of home health products and services that focuses on the complex needs of patients and caregivers. Available programs include chronic care management, joint replacement care, specialty infusion and transplant care, wound, ostomy and continence nursing, and palliative care to name a few. Henry Ford Home Health Care's services are provided by qualified registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified wound, ostomy and continence nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech - language pathologists, medical social workers, dietitians, and home health aides.
GENERAL SUMMARY
Under general supervision of the therapy supervisor, implements treatment programs and organizes and conducts a variety of sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities designed to help clients regain physical or mental functioning and/or adjust to their handicaps.
EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS:
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Registration by the State of Michigan as an occupational therapist.
Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in the client's home which is an uncontrolled environment.
May be exposed to potentially infectious materials, bloodborne-disease pathogens and hazardous waste.
Drives to and from the clients' homes located in the Detroit Metropolitan area in varied weather and traffic conditions.
Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.
