Occupational Therapist Posting Notice

Flat Rock-Hawcreek School Corporation is pleased to announce an opening on our team for the 2026-2027 school year. We are searching for an occupational therapist to provide therapy services for students who qualify for special education and occupational therapy as a related service.

Professional Responsibilities

Collaborate with parents and other professionals in providing services to students

Promote and enhance access to education for students

Maintain up to date knowledge of Article 7

Monitor, develop, revise the implementation of services of the IEP

Instructional Skills

Provide and plan the intervention strategies

Assess the functional performance of students within their educational environment

Coordinate integrated therapy with classroom teacher, to be incorporated into the educational program

Develop and present in-service training programs for special education staff and parents as requested

Full Job Description

Salary and benefits are competitive with the surrounding area and commensurate with experience. Annual contracts are 185 days.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program, hold a valid certificate issued by the Occupational Therapy Committee of the Indiana Medical Licensing Board and adhere to the Indiana Occupational Therapy Certification Act (IC 25-23.5)
