Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Full-Time, Day Schedule

The Occupational Therapist provides skilled occupational therapy evaluations, treatment, and rehabilitation services for patients admitted to the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. Working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals, the therapist develops individualized treatment plans to maximize functional independence, improve activities of daily living, and support safe discharge planning.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program., Or
Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program., Or
Ph.D. from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program., Or equivalent education/experience
Coursework/Training: Occasional specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet a particular department need., Or equivalent education/experience
Upon hire: Oregon Occupational Therapist License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Experience

Experience providing Occupational Therapy services in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred
Experience performing patient evaluations and treatment planning
Strong rehabilitation and functional assessment skills

Preferred Qualifications

Inpatient Rehabilitation experience

Acute Care Hospital experience

Neurological Rehabilitation

Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Stroke Rehabilitation

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience

Patient & Family Education
