Occupational Therapist – Lodi, California

 

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work with adult and senior patients in a rehabilitation setting, helping individuals improve functional abilities, increase independence, and enhance overall quality of life.

The ideal candidate is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care, utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

 

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment programs, and provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve daily living skills, mobility, cognition, and overall function. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive clinical environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical needs
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve functional performance and independence
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as appropriate
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and other healthcare providers
  • Support discharge planning and continuity of care efforts
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional practice standards

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current California Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment

Preferred

  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care settings
  • Knowledge of evidence-based rehabilitation practices
  • Experience working with adult and geriatric populations
