The Womens Health Team at Medical Plaza Miller is seeking a full-time occupational therapist with experience/certification in treatment of lymphedema to participate in the care of our patients with needs in this specialized area. Qualified applicants will have a strong desire to specialize in lymphedema, possess excellent communication, flexibility and time management skills, as well as a desire to implement the most current and evidence-based practice.

Position Highlights: Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500 in Relocation Assistance (for qualified candidates) What We Offer: Day 1 Health Coverage: Choose from either copay or HSA-eligible health insurance options with coverage starting on your first day of work. What Youll Need: Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of North Carolina with current licensure. CPR Certification every two years.

What Youll Do: Responsible for the performance of specialized tests, such as manual muscle testing, goniometry and teaching occupational therapy procedures to the patient, family and other health personnel. Performs both individual and comprehensive evaluations with multidisciplinary team members. Provides written summary of diagnostic findings to be incorporated into team plan. Plans intervention strategies and communicates effectively with families regarding the childs strengths and weaknesses; work may be performed in homes, agencies, preschools or clinics. Provides occupational therapy treatment services including neuro-developmental and sensory motor therapy, developmental stimulation, home programming, equipment demonstration, or other treatment modality to enhance sensory motor functioning and general developmental status. Provides documentation of goals and objectives for therapy as well as the course and progress of interventions with the patient. Participates in IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) as needed. Participates in chart review of clinical records for quality assurance. Attends relevant workshops and update instruments/tools to ensure most beneficial practices for population served. Attends scheduled staff, CDSA, or other committee meetings as needed. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
