Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and resourceful Occupational Therapist (OT) to join WelbeHealth in Modesto, California. This opportunity is ideal for an OT who enjoys working with adults and older adults and is passionate about helping individuals maintain the functional abilities, confidence, and independence necessary to participate meaningfully in everyday life.

In this role, you will assess participants' functional needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve safety and independence with activities of daily living. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to address the unique challenges faced by an adult and geriatric population. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of $105,000 – $126,000 annually and the chance to make a tangible difference in participants' ability to live more independently.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid California Occupational Therapy license or documented proof of eligibility for California licensure.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of professional experience.
  • Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter.
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions.
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • CPR and First Aid certification upon hire.
  • Professional experience working with adult and/or geriatric populations.
  • Experience treating older adults with functional limitations or complex healthcare needs.
  • Experience with activities of daily living (ADLs), adaptive techniques, mobility and safety strategies, and functional rehabilitation.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate and creative Occupational Therapist with professional adult and/or geriatric experience who recognizes that successful rehabilitation is ultimately about helping people continue doing the things that matter in their everyday lives. They are skilled at identifying practical solutions to functional challenges, adapting interventions to individual needs, and motivating participants toward greater independence. Candidates whose professional experience is exclusively pediatric will not be considered for this opportunity.
