Salary: $85,000–$105,000 per year (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

Hands of Hope Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide high-quality, patient-centered care to improve functional independence and daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, fine motor skills, cognition, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Comply with HIPAA and professional practice standards.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active New York State Occupational Therapist License.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Strong communication and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Outpatient rehabilitation experience.
  • Experience with orthopedic, neurological, or post-surgical patients.
  • CPR/BLS Certification.

Compensation

  • Level 1 (0–2 years): $85,000–$92,000
  • Level 2 (2–5 years): $93,000–$99,000
  • Level 3 (5+ years): $101,000–$105,000
