Job Description and Responsibilities

This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role as an Occupational Therapist (OT) serving a school located in Northglenn, CO.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

• Full-time school-based opportunity with a 34-hour weekly schedule
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• 2026–2027 academic year (August 2026 through May 2027)

• Fully on-site, in-person assignment serving students in Kindergarten through 12th grade
• Provide direct therapy services, complete evaluations and assessments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage assigned student caseloads
• Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor student progress, and participate in IEP meetings and educational planning
• Guaranteed paid hours include direct services, documentation, planning, meetings, and administrative responsibilities
• Manageable caseloads designed to support quality student services and professional success
• Ongoing collaboration and support from both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds Partners team
• $60–$75+ per hour, with estimated weekly earnings of approximately $2,040–$2,550+

Qualifications

• BS, Master's, OTD, or PhD in Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited university
• State License as Occupational Therapist
• NBCOT License
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
• Experience working with children
• Strong foundation in Sensory Integration and ability to identify and analyze areas of developmental and sensory-motor dysfunction
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
