POSITION: Occupational Therapist

LOCATION: Districtwide

START DATE: 8/19/26

DEADLINE DATE: 7/6/26

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completion of all applicable elements of Individualized Education Plans
• Delivery of Tier 3 Intervention Services as directed by Student Consultation Team/Planning and Placement Team
• Completion of fine motor components of student assessment, including providing written report
• Direct service to address fine motor concerns, individual and small group as well as sensory integration needs
• Teacher Consultation
• Parent Consultation and Education
• Student Progress Monitoring
• Collaboration with Other Student Services Staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Meets full state requirements for certification as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Connecticut.
• Excellent teaming, collaboration and communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of best practices in the practice of occupational therapy.
• Working knowledge of all applicable State and Federal statutes related to special education and 504.

REPORTS TO: Director of Student Services

SALARY: Per Contract Agreement
