We are seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric occupational therapy services within our partner centers throughout the Orlando area. The therapist will evaluate, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions focused on improving fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-help, feeding, play, and functional participation skills.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with BCBAs, RBTs, speech-language pathologists, and families in a highly collaborative environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Clinical Services
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to pediatric patients.
- Address areas including:
- Fine motor development
- Visual motor integration
- Sensory processing
- Activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Self-regulation
- Play skills
- Feeding and oral motor skills (if trained)
- Handwriting readiness and school participation
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Collaboration
- Collaborate regularly with ABA teams, BCBAs, RBTs, speech therapists, and caregivers.
- Participate in interdisciplinary discussions regarding patient progress and treatment recommendations.
- Provide caregiver education and home program recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, schools, and other healthcare providers when appropriate.
Documentation
- Complete evaluations, progress reports, re-evaluations, and daily treatment notes in a timely manner.
- Maintain compliance with payer, company, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation supporting medical necessity and treatment outcomes.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain Florida licensure and continuing education requirements.
- Follow HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism and strong communication skills with families and team members.

Requirements
Required
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Florida Occupational Therapist License.
- Experience working with pediatric populations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Experience within ABA centers, schools, outpatient pediatric clinics, or early intervention settings.
- Experience with sensory integration principles.
- Feeding experience is a plus.
