Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide Early Intervention services to children and families throughout Delaware County. This full-time position focuses on supporting young children in achieving developmental milestones through therapeutic interventions delivered in home and community-based environments.
The Occupational Therapist will assess developmental needs, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to promote independence and participation in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for children receiving Early Intervention services.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings.
Provide direct occupational therapy services in homes and community settings.
Coach and educate parents, caregivers, and family members on strategies to support developmental goals.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and service delivery.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and intervention strategies as appropriate.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy License.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to travel throughout Delaware County to provide services.
Preferred
Experience working in Early Intervention, pediatric, or school-based settings.
Knowledge of child development and family-centered service delivery models.
