An education and student-support organization providing specialized tutoring, therapy, evaluations, and educational services to students is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide individualized support that helps students develop the skills needed to succeed academically and functionally. This opportunity is ideal for licensed or certified Occupational Therapists who are passionate about working with students and collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to address individual developmental and educational needs.

What you will be doing:

• Provide individualized occupational therapy services to students based on their specific educational and developmental needs.
• Assess students' functional abilities and identify areas requiring therapeutic support.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment strategies and individualized goals.
• Help students improve fine motor, sensory processing, coordination, self-regulation, and functional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Document services, evaluations, progress, and recommendations accurately and professionally.
• Participate in evaluations and contribute to individualized education and support plans when appropriate.
• Provide services in a professional, supportive, and student-centered environment.

Experience you will need:

• Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program.
• Current NYS Occupational Therapy license/certification or appropriate NYS credential.
• Experience working with children or students preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as an independent contractor.
