Staff occupational therapist performs evaluation and treatment of impairment in functional status in daily living skills following a disability, disease or illness. The person in this position provides services to the following populations: Adults (Eighteen to seventy-five year olds) Geriatrics (Seventy-five years and older)
Required Knowledge & Skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
Licenses and Certifications
*OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
*HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)
Supervision
*Has limited supervision. May serve as supervisor to staff occupational therapy assistants and/or therapy aides if assigned.
Qualifications
*Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
*Licensure by the Georgia State Board of Examiners of Occupational Therapy.
*Comprehensive knowledge of occupational therapy treatment procedures.
*BLS required within 30 days of hire.
