The Occupational Therapist (OT) – Pediatrics is responsible for evaluating and treating pediatric patients to improve their ability to perform daily activities and developmental tasks.
This role focuses on enhancing fine motor skills, sensory integration, and overall functional independence in a patient-centered care environment.
Must-Have Qualifications
• Minimum 1–2+ years of Occupational Therapist experience (Pediatrics preferred)
• Active Kansas Occupational Therapist License (Required prior to start)
• BLS Certification (AHA – Required)
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy and developmental milestones
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in pediatric or outpatient therapy settings
• Familiarity with sensory integration techniques
• Strong patient and family communication skills
