We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join Harborview Post Acute in Memphis. This permanent position focuses on working with post-acute patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury, and medically complex conditions. Job Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, and functional limitations in a post-acute setting
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, and functional mobility techniques
• Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to improve independence and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care and discharge planning
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Requirements
• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist in Tennessee
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent OT experience preferred, ideally in post-acute, SNF, or rehabilitation settings
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
