Job Details

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Provide individual and small-group occupational therapy to students ages 3–21 based on their IEP goals
Help students improve sensory processing, fine motor skills, coordination, mobility, self-care, and everyday independence
Complete initial, annual, and triennial evaluations and develop appropriate treatment goals
Recommend adaptive equipment, orthotic devices, assistive technology, and compensatory strategies
Collaborate with teachers, families, and related-service providers to integrate therapy into the classroom and home

SKILLS YOU NEED

Active New York State Occupational Therapist license
School-based, pediatric, or special-needs occupational therapy experience preferred
